“WHERE THE DREAM BEGINS”

Help us support Junior Golf at Desert Lakes and the state of New Mexico.

The life lessons young people learn from the game of golf transcend anything that can be put on a scorecard or that might even appear in a headline on a sports page. Honesty, integrity and respect for rules are just a few of the skills that come part and parcel with learning how to chip, drive and putt.

The importance of all of this is never lost on the Professionals at Desert Lakes. Here, a young person will not only learn how to play a better game but also how to live a better life.

PGA Jr League

A game and experience of its own.

PGA Jr. League is shifting the way youth golf is learned and played, including the adoption of league play, team golf and scoring with flags and points. All of these unique elements are further explained below. More detailed information can be found in our 2024 Conditions of Play booklet here.

Expert Coaching

Behind each and every PGA Jr. League team is a PGA Coach providing a safe, caring and organized environment for every child to become (and stay) a golfer. These experts in the game are provided with flexibility to create a coaching program that works best for their players and families.

Teams with Friends

Easily one of the best parts of PGA Jr. League is the team component! All kids will be a part of a local team that may consist of anywhere from four or more players.

Congratulations to our PGA Jr. League State Champions!! Join us in celebrating our Tiger PGA Jr. League team as they advance to the Regional Tournament in Round Rock, Texas, from September 13th to 15th!

To ensure our team has the resources they need to compete at the highest level, we are reaching out to our wonderful community for donations.
