Desert Lakes boasts three of the finest, most practical and down-to-Earth teaching professionals in the Southwest: Grant Dalpes and Bill Gayso.

Grant Dalpes and Bill Gayso have earned their credentials as PGA Members and teaching professionals and each has years of experience helping players get to that next level they so desperately strive for.

At Desert Lakes you can choose from a variety of different course and lesson programs. Whether you're just taking up the game, looking to brush up on certain aspects or are a high handicapper looking to deal with significant issues, Grant and Bill are up to the task.

Basic Lesson Fees

45 minutes, one person: $30
45 minutes, two people: $50
45 minutes, three people: $60

Lesson Packages

Desert Lakes Special Package: $240
Eight lessons on the fundamentals of the game; chipping, putting, pitching, basic swing, woods, tees and course management. Special package includes 30 large buckets of range balls and three nine hole practice rounds, a $154.50 value.

The Six-Shooter: $190
Six lessons covering aspects as they relate to shot making techniques. Includes 15 large buckets of range balls and two, nine-hole practice rounds equals an $81.75 value.

The Four-Lesson Brush-Up: $120
A series of four lessons on aspects of the game that concern you most. Includes 8 large buckets of range balls and one nine-hole practice round, a $43 value.

Course Management Package: (three holes, $35; six holes, $55; nine holes, $75).
Multi-hole playing lesson on club decision, course management and rules questions.

The life lessons young people learn from the game of golf transcend anything that can be put on a scorecard or that might even appear in a headline on a sports page. Honesty, integrity and respect for rules are just a few of the skills that come part and parcel with learning how to chip, drive and putt.

The importance of all of this is never lost on the Professionals at Desert Lakes. Here, a young person will not only learn how to play a better game but also how to live a better life.

JUNIOR CAMP
Running every June for the last 15 years, the Desert Lakes Junior Golf Program is recognized as one of the best junior programs in the state. Entry forms and information are made available through the Desert Lakes Golf Shop and the Alamogordo Public School system.

Every year Desert Lakes welcomes the first 100 juniors to their Junior Golf Camp which is one week long and is held twice. The first camp is 2 June thru 6 June from 8:30 am to 11:30 am each day (Monday thru Friday). The second camp will be held 9 June thru 13 June from 8:30 am to 11:30 am each day (Monday thru Friday). Entry forms are avaliable in the pro shop at Desert Lakes Golf Course and the Alamogordo Public Schools. JUNIOR CLINICS
2 Sessions - one each in July & August
Created as an introductory camp for junior eight years old and up. Each class will be two hours long and will include lessons on:

• Course Management Fundamentals.

Classes are limited to the first 12 paid entries.
